Who we are

South Bay Epoxy was built from the ground up. What began with a passion for hands-on, detailed work turned into a business rooted in pride, purpose, and community. We're not a giant company with a hundred vans on the road; we're local. We're personal. And we care about every square foot we touch.

Born and raised in the South Bay, we know the homes, the garages, the streets, and the people that make this area what it is. Our mission is simple: to deliver clean, durable, custom epoxy work that reflects the strength and style of our community. We want to make sure our clients feel confident, heard, and happy every step of the way.

We treat every job like it’s our own home, take pride in getting the details right, and never cut corners.

This is our name, our craft, and our commitment to the South Bay.

  • When properly installed and maintained, epoxy surfaces can last 10–20 years or more. Our work is designed to stand up to heat, impact, stains, and wear, especially with our coastal climate in mind.

  • Yes, in most cases. We’ll assess the condition of your existing concrete, wood, or countertop to make sure it’s a good candidate. We always prep the surface thoroughly before installation to ensure a strong bond and long-lasting finish.

  • Epoxy generally takes 24 to 72 hours to cure enough for light foot traffic, and up to 7 days for full hardness. We always recommend waiting the full cure time before placing heavy items or driving on it to ensure maximum durability.

  • Epoxy can be slick when wet, but we offer anti-slip additives for areas like garages or commercial floors. You can choose from different textures and finishes to balance looks and safety, depending on where the epoxy will be installed.

  • While epoxy is a chemical product, many modern formulas are low-VOC (volatile organic compounds), making them safer for your space and the environment. At South Bay Epoxy, we choose high-quality materials that reduce waste and pollution to help keep our oceans clean and community healthy.

  • Epoxy is super low maintenance. Just sweep or mop regularly with a gentle cleaner (no harsh chemicals or abrasives needed). For garages or high-traffic areas, we recommend an occasional deep clean to keep the shine fresh and surfaces strong for years to come.
